Synopsis

An interview with the high priest of punk literature. This postmodern philosopher talks about her scolds hanging out at the New York Filmmakers Cooperative with (then-boyfriend) P. Adams Sitney, Jack Smith, Stan Brakhage, and others. She speaks to the "theft of language", narrative versus myth, and "digging herself out of hell." The interview was shot on Halloween night 1996; the tape was finished a week before Acker's death in 1997. The original 45-minute interview is placed inside the Three Minute Film School, without any cutting - using only fast-forward or rewind.
