Before the New Millennium is a digital conversion of amateur videos captured over a decade ago in the queer and art-world of Canada. Focusing on the lesbian art collective Kiss & Tell, the film documents the group's approach to performance and their constant run-ins with censorship. Mixing images, interviews, and shows together to reveal one of Canada's original queers, the film creates an explosive digital document about a long-gone era.
