Synopsis
A collage of found footage from different media presenting the case of Simon Nkodi, a black gay activist and student leader in South Africa, who had been in jail for two years when the film was produced. Exploring the connections between anti-apartheid struggles and gay liberation, A Moffie Called Simonis based on letters from Nkodi to his lover, Ray, a Canadian gay journalist.
