Synopsis

This tape was produced as an historical/informational work documenting the controversial term of Ontario College of Art (now OCAD) president Roy Ascott. Ascott was president of the O.C.A. for nine months in 1971. During his term he attempted to introduce radical changes to the educational structure of the college which created an atmosphere of divergent opinions both supporting and rejecting his philosophy and plans. Various college associates recall this exciting time at the O.C.A.
