Synopsis
In 57 Ways, Bamboat explores, through an early German expressionism aesthetic and an ironic distanciation, the negative impacts of a trope in the Western women’s health discourse: vaginal odour. The lead character, obsessed with the fact that her genitalia could smell, tries 57 popular methods to hide her odour, only to end up cutting her own nose.
