Biography

Toronto based filmmaker, internet radio host. Ingram started his filmmaking career in fiction where he directed two comedies Drawing Flies and Tail Lights Fade, both produced by American indie comedy celebrity Kevin Smith. However both films proving unsuccessful and very conventionally un-queer) , Ingram focused the next few years on his radio gig. However, It is with Small Town Gay Bar that Ingram explored documentary filmmaking and explored niche segments of the gay community. Small Town Gay Bar explores the many risks and turmoils of being gay in small rural southern towns in the U.S. His next film, Bear Nation, explores the gay subculture of the Bear community. In 2013 he directs Continental, a documentary feature that explores the history of the Continental Baths and the importance of bathhouses in the gay community.
