Synopsis

Samuel Chow’s Sex Me Up questions the state of male sexualities by using pornographic imagery and Asian cultural references in order to examine sexual objectification and subjectivity. Generating discourses about gender and fetishism, the video was created as an expression (and a tool) of the artist’s own self-empowerment.
