Synopsis

A poetic documentary about war resisters. When war was declared to Iraq in 2003, Canada was host to approximately 200 U.S. Iraq war resisters. Built from archival footage from the 1940s and 1950s, we never see their faces but hear their voice. The film features Nobel Peace Prize recipient Joseph Rotbalt who was the only scientist to leave the Manhattan Project and Cindy Sheehan whose son was killed in Iraq in 2004 and three such US war resisters that fled to Canada.
